Liam Brady is one of Ireland’s greatest ever sportsmen and the first non-British player to be awarded the coveted Footballer of the Year in 1979 when, remarkably, he won Arsenal Player of the Year for the third consecutive season.
The following year he moved to Italy where he spent seven years, winning the Serie A Championship in his first two seasons with Juventus before playing with Sampdoria and Inter Milan. In 1996 Liam was appointed Head of the Arsenal Academy a position he held for 21 years until his retirement in 2013.
He joined Platinum One as an executive director in 2017.
